Happy Memorial Cricket Tourney

JAMMU, July 11: Bawa Talab CC trounced Jourian Warriors by three wickets and entered into final round of the ongoing First Happy Memorial Cricket Tournament, being played at Govt Higher Secondary School Akhnoor, near here today.
In the 2nd semi-finals match of the ongoing tournament which was played between Jourain Warriors and Bawa Talab Cricket Club, the Jourain Warriors won the toss and decided to field first.
Batting first, Jourain Warriors scored 150 by losing all wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Lakhan Singh made highest 60 runs for his team, while Sandeep Singh scored 26 runs and Abhishek contributed 20 runs. From bowling side, Sukhdev Singh got three wickets, Bhanu and Munna shared two wickets each and Happy and Rohit shared one wicket each.
In reply, Bawa Talab CC chased the target by losing seven wickets in 19 overs, wherein Binny Singh scored 32 runs, whereas Munna made 37 runs and Anil Kumar and Anil Singh contributed 19 and 17 runs to the total respectively. From bowling side, Ajay, Sagar and Randeep Singh shared two wickets each, whereas Sandeep Singh got one wicket.
Munna was declared as man of the match for his outstanding performance. Vikas Bali and Dayal Singh were umpires and Manav Mehta and Rahul Gupta acted as scorers.
