UDHAMPUR, Nov 4: Demanding black topping of road from Battal Balian to Tunda, locals today held a protest demonstration at Battal Balian, here today.
The protesting people raised slogans against District administration and Public Works Department (PWD) Udhampur. They alleged that PWD Department had laid 1st layer of the road in 2014 but the pending work was not done till date. The DPR was prepared six months back for black topping of the road by PWD Department but again no step was initiated further, they added and demanded immediate repair of the road.
