JAMMU, Aug 3: Senior BJP leader and former JMC Councillor, Sanjay Kumar Baru here today called on JMC Executive Engineer (Works), Akhil Dutt and discussed various development and local issues of Talab Tillo and adjoining areas with him.
JMC AEE (Works), Jagya Dutt Sharma was also present on the occasion.
Baru said that Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) enhanced the basic infrastructure of the city but after the local body was dissolved which followed implementation of Model Code of Conduct for Lok Sabha election, new development projects under CAPEX for Surya Vihar, Chaman Vihar, Shanker Vihar, Jawahar Nagar, Durga Nagar, Kabir Nagar and Gole Gujral were delayed.
Baru asked the Executive Engineer to float the tenders as soon as possible for the works approved under CAPEX in all Wards of Talab Tillo area so that all the due works there may be started after the rainy season.
The JMC Executive Engineer (Works) assured the former JMC Councillor for early advertisement of all tenders under CAPEX Budget.
