SAMBA, Dec 24 Bari Brahmana Police has arrested one Sahil while his two of his associates are absconding who were reportedly involved in assault on one Shubam Mehra, son of Rajesh Kumar of Ward Number 4, Bari Brahmana at a tea stall along Bari Brahmana Bishnah road during late night hours of December 22.
The incident evoked a strong protest in the area and locals of Ward 4 Bari Brahmana blocked Bari Brahmana -Bishnah road demanding immediate arrest of the culprits and their punishment under law.
Police said a case has been registered in this regard and it has arrested one Sahil in connection with the attack while the two of his accomplice are absconding. The police have launched a manhunt to arrest them.
The injured person is under going treatment in GMC Jammu, police said.
