SAMBA, Oct 20: Bari Brahmana Police during patrolling in the Teli Basti, Bari Brahmana area, intercepted one person who was moving under suspicious circumstances and recovered one Kg of Poppy Straw from his possession.
The accused person has been identified as Jagseer Singh alias Jassi S/o Kewal Singh R/o Barnal Punjab A/P Vijaypur. He was arrested along with contraband item. In this regard, a case FIR No. 193/2018 U/S 8/15 NDPS Act registered at P/S Bari Brahmana and investigation taken up.
The arrest was made by the Police Party headed by Inspector Ravinder Singh Rakwal, SHO, P/S Bari Brahmana under the close supervision of Sunil Kesar, SDPO Bari Brahmana and under the overall supervision of Dr. Koshal Sharma, SSP Samba.
