Banyan International School organizes Inter School competition

JAMMU, Sept 87: Banyan International School in association with Pearson Schools celebrated Tirangaa 2017, an annual Inter-School event that provided a platform for students from various schools to compete and exhibit their skills.
This year’s theme for Tirangaa was ‘Celebrating the Environment’.
The event witnessed a participation of 1364 students from 19 schools of Jammu region. The event included many activities like colouring, fancy dress, Jigsaw puzzle, planting race, best out of waste, mask making using eco-friendly material, one minute to fame, poetry writing, street play and quiz.
The tiny toddlers dressed in various costumes were the main attraction of the event.
Mansoor Aslam Choudhary, Joint Director (Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department), Dr. Asif Rehman Choudhary and Neeraj Shastri graced the occasion by giving away prizes to well deserving winners.
To mark the occasion the school provided a sapling to all participating students.
