Bani people demand Pharmacy Institute

KATHUA, July 25: The youth of Bani have expressed concern over lack of proper educational facilities in the tehsil with the result the students from poor background are unable to get proper technical education facilities.
Tehsil Bani being a remote and far flung area which is 154 kms away from district Headquarter Kathua and also over 200 kms from Jammu city needs immediate attention for proper development and creation of educational infrastructure with special emphasis on technical education.
Mudasar Ali Bani a social activist and youth leader in an appeal to Government has demanded immediate opening of Government Pharmacy Institute in Bani besides other technical institutes so that the local youth can get benefitted. It is difficult for the youth of this tehsil especially women students to visit Jammu, Kathua and Bhaderwah to join pharmacy classes.
He also made an appeal to Union Minister in PMO, Dr Jitendra Singh, Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha, Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah and local MLA seeking their immediate intervention in the matter.
