JAMMU, Dec 20: A Bangladeshi national living illegally here has been arrested by Bhatindi Police.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Post Bhatindi led by PSI Mohammad Ilyas under the supervision of SHO Bahu Fort Inspector Nayat Ali and SDPO East Sajad Sarwar conducted raid and apprehended a Bangladeshi national, who was living illegal in Bhatindi area.
The arrested person was identified as Zamir u Din, son of Nazir Ahmed, a resident of Bangladesh, at present Bhatindi District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 405/2021 under Sections 467, 468 and 471 IPC, 14 F Act and 3/6 PEII Act has been registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and investigation started.
