JAMMU, Mar 29: A Prashikshan Shivir (training workshop) for the Marh Assembly Constituency was organised at Krishna Palace, Marh, under the chairmanship of senior BJP leader and former Health Minister Bali Bhagat.
The workshop was attended by MLA Marh Surinder Bhagat, along with senior leaders, including Rajinder Singh Chib and Kuldip Singh Lenghe, Constituency Incharge Ayodhya Gupta, Mandal Presidents Vikram Singh, Sham Sunder and Amarjeet, District General Secretaries Bhuvnesh Mehta and Raveesh Mehengi, besides a large number of BJP workers, Sarpanches and local representatives.
Addressing the gathering, Bali Bhagat said that the strength of the BJP lies in its disciplined and dedicated cadre.
He emphasised that regular training is necessary to strengthen the party at the grassroots level and to equip workers for effective public outreach.
Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said party workers should draw inspiration from his vision of inclusive development, good governance and service to the nation.
He stressed better coordination, a strong organisational structure and active participation at booth, mandal and constituency levels.
Speaking on the occasion, Surinder Bhagat highlighted ongoing developmental works in the Marh constituency and appreciated the role of party workers in supporting these initiatives.
He said workers play a vital role in ensuring last-mile delivery of schemes and maintaining close contact with the public.
He also stressed the importance of strengthening booth-level structure, calling it the backbone of the organisation.
The workshop included sessions on organisational strategies, cadre strengthening, public outreach and coordination.
BJP workers actively participated and reaffirmed their commitment to the party’s ideology.
The programme concluded with leaders and workers resolving to further strengthen the party base and expand its reach across all sections of society in the Marh constituency.
