JAMMU, Dec 9: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu & Kashmir general secretary and former Deputy Mayor, Jammu, Baldev Singh Billawaria, today kick started the blacktopping work at Ward No. 55, Mansarovar Enclave in RS Pura–Jammu South Assembly constituency.
This development work will be completed promptly and transparently under the supervision of the Public Works Department (PWD). Billawaria accompanied with BJP Jammu South district president, Naresh Jasrotia, Mandal president, Ajay Pratap Singh, Sohan Katal (Sonu), State Executive Member, Rajinder Chib (Poppy), along with departmental officials, local residents, and BJP workers were present.
Speaking on the occasion, Billawaria said that roads are the backbone of development in any region. “Good roads not only make transportation easier but also strengthen safety, trade, and social activities” Billawaria said. He added that the policies of the BJP and the welfare programmes being run under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi are playing a decisive role in accelerating regional development. Billawaria particularly appreciated the efforts of the local MLA, Dr. Narinder Singh, stating that he is continuously committed to providing basic facilities, better roads, clean neighborhoods, a safe environment, and modern development to the people of his constituency.
He also praised the Jammu & Kashmir BJP organisation, state leadership, and all BJP legislators, saying that the strength of the organisation and the spirit of public service are the biggest assets of the BJP. He noted that due to the collective efforts of the J&K president, organisational general secretary, MPs, and MLAs, a new pace of development has been established in Jammu & Kashmir.
Billawaria said that BJP workers are always ready to serve citizens—whether it is participating in cleanliness drives, resolving water and electricity issues, or organizing health camps. Organizational strength and accountability towards people are the hallmarks of the BJP, and this is why development is clearly visible in every region.
He emphasised that both the BJP Government and organisation are committed to ensuring “development to every home, facilities to every individual, and transparent administration to every region.”
Local residents expressed gratitude to the BJP leadership for initiating this development work. They said that the BJP leaders not only listened to their issues but also ensured timely solutions.
