Balbir meets India’s former Ambassador to Belarus

JAMMU, July 1: Balbir Ram Rattan, National General Secretary of Guru Ravidass Vishwa Mahapeeth, General Secretary of the Indian chapter of the British Ravidasia Heritage Foundation, and a member of the Begampura Vishwa Mahasabha, met Ramesh Chander, a retired Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer and former Ambassador of India to Belarus, during his visit to Jalandhar.
The meeting took place in a warm and cordial atmosphere, marked by an in-depth discussion on life of Guru Ravidass and Dr B R Ambedkar.
On this occasion, both of them shared thoughts on key topics such as social harmony, Dalit awareness, and instilling moral values among youth. They agreed to collaborate in the future to further intensify efforts for social upliftment.
Appreciating Ramesh Chander’s service, Balbir Ram Rattan, said that even while holding high-ranking positions, he always prioritized social upliftment and human service. He emphasized that such inspiring personalities provide direction to society and that the younger generation should learn from their lives.
