Bahujan Samaj Party holds review meeting

JAMMU, Sept 10: Bahujan Samaj Party today held a meeting at Party Office, Narwal Pain, Satwari, here.
The meeting was held under the presidentship of Tarsem Lal Khullar, State President BSP, while Raja Ram MP Rajya Sabha, Coordinator J&K and West Bengal was the chief guest.
The main agenda of the meeting was to review the work allotted to the zone In-charges and District Presidents to strengthen the party, complete the membership drive, frame the sectors and polling booth committees.
Raja Ram gave the target for membership of 5,000 new workers up to ending of September 2017.
Threadbare discussion was done on the problems faced by people of J&K such as reservation in promotion to SC, ST and OBC, Scholarship to the students belonging to below poverty line, poor medical facilities, law and order and various other problems faced on daily basis by the people of J&K.
Security of the State leaders including president BSP J&K, Tarsem Lal Khullar was discussed and it was warned if any mis-happening to any of the State leaders takes place, the State Government will be held responsible for the same.
After all the discussions it was announced by the State president that BSP J&K Unit Samba will be holding a Dharna Pardarshan at Atway Road Power House Samba on September 18, 2017 regarding the problems faced by the people of J&K.
Prominent among others present in the meeting were SR Majotra, KL Attri, Rattan Bhagat, HC Thappa,  Jagdish Verma, Shiban Langeh, Sardar Raja Singh,  Pawan Gupta, PritamChand, BL Digra, Mohinder Kashyap, PR Manyal, Charanjeet Bitta, Raj Kumar Thappa, Jagdish Bhagat, Deepak Rana, Shallo Ram, Varinder Bhagat  and OM Parkash Thappa.
