Jammu District Gulrez Memorial Tennis Tourney
JAMMU, June 8: Saarthak Jain and Shrawan Bagati duo held their nerves after losing the first set to come back strongly and clinched a (3-1) victory over Aman Pandoh and Siddarth Gupte pair in the summit clash by 3-6, 6-4 and 10-6 (super tie-break) in the ongoing Jammu District Gulrez Memorial Tennis Tournament at Police Lines Gulshan ground, here.
Meanwhile, in U-18 singles final, Saarthak Jain toppled Aman Pandoh by two sets to one (2-1) with the scores of 6-3, 5-7 and 10-6 via super tie-break.
Earlier, in Under-14 boys singles final, Chakshu Mahajan prevailed upon Arunav Arora in the finals by two sets to nil (2-0) 6-1, 7-5.
In Under-12 boys final, Aryaman Wazir trounced Saksham Manhotra by 6-4, 5-7 and 10-6 via super tie-break to lift the title.
The tournament is being organized by Friends Tennis Club, under the auspices of J&K Lawn Tennis Association, under the overall supervision of Vikram Gupta and Gourav Arora.
