JAMMU, Jan 29: Today a delegation of Baba Amarnath & Buda Amarnath Yatri Niyas met with Navin. K. Choudhary, CEO SASB to apprise the Board regarding the coming annual pilgrimage of Baba Shri Amarnath Ji in the year 2013. The delegation was led by Surinder Mohan Aggarwal, President BABA Yatri Niyas.
The members of the delegation has asked the CEO, to implement the order of the Supreme Court which has in its order, charged the authorities at the helm of affairs of violating the fundamental protections and rights of the people at large during the pilgrimage of Shri Amarnath Ji.
In the light of circumstances and in consonance with the directions issued by the Supreme Court, BABA Yatri Niyas has proposed the suggestions to be kept in consideration of providing the fool-proof facilities, and arrangements for the annual pilgrimage of Shri Amarnathji Yatra in 2013.
Members of the delegation of BABA Yatri Niyas has asked the CEO to suggest the Board to commence the yatra from Jyeshth Purnima by performing the Pratham Darshan Pooja at the holy cave & which shall be the commencement date of Shri Amarnath Yatra 2013, as there is always a controversy about it.
Prominent members of the associate member organisations of BABA Yatri Niyas in the delegation included Pawan Kumar Jain, Kuldip Wahi, Varinder Jain, Karan Singh Charak, Shyam Langar, Sudarshan Khajuria, and Dineshwar S. Jamwal.
