JAMMU, Mar 16: With an aim to aware the students about the protection of Ayurvedic medicines, a programme organised by Patanjali Research Foundation (PRF) was held here today.
On the occasion, Patanjali CEO Dr Acharya Balkrishna was the Chief Guest, while Dr. Sushil Kumar Upadhyay, ex- Deputy Director NMPB, Ministry of AYUSH and Dr Nirmal Kumar Avasthi were the main speakers.
Dr Balkrishna informed the attendants that their foundation is spreading the awareness and for the protection of the ayurvedic medicines in a big way.
Dr Sushil Kumar Upadhyay said that this project-based knowledge of traditional Vaidya or Guniya and medicinal plants related to tribal and special backward tribes will be able to fulfill the dream of Vasudhaiv kutumbakam in the future.
Addressing to the participant students, Dr Nirmal Kumar Avasthi emphasised over the protection of ayurvedic medicines.
The eminent experts of India presented their traditional medicinal experts, research done in tribal area, experience and traditional medicinal knowledge in the National Ayurvedic Forum.
