SRINAGAR, Apr 8: The central office of Awami Mahaz was inaugurated at Bandipora today. Large number of people from different walks of life participated in the function.
Addressing the gathering, President Awami Mahaz, Advocate Nazir Ahmad Malik said that this office will represent the sentiments of suppressed people of Bandipora. He said, “people of Bandipora have been exploited by so called politicians for their vested interests.” Advocate Malik lambasted the state functionaries and politicians for ignoring the people of Bandipora and said that political workers of PDP and Congress have created hegemony in different departments and are creating hurdles in smooth execution of different works.
“Officials are acting as mere spectators and are in league with these political leaders. As such Bandipora has remained far behind than other constituents of the district”, he said.
Appealing to the youth of the district to organize themselves for big fight against these so called politicians and their collaborators, Advocate Malik said that youth can make difference and their role in upliftment of the district is very important. He announced that Awamai Mahaz will organize a convocation in near future in which all those politicians will be exposed who are bent upon to ruin the future of people of Bandipora.
