The apprehension, concern as raised by the author in the article need to be taken into account by the concerned authorities at the earliest keeping in view the safety of people.
The author has given a detailed account of how construction of more dams in the area could endanger the safety of this area, which though having a difficult terrain, is endowed with natural beauty.
Though construction of dams in the area may bring employment opportunities to people of this areas and may benefit them economically, it should not however force them to get displaced from their homes. That will indeed be a great catastrophe for them.
The dams should in no way endanger the fragile eco-system of this region.
