Audi India opens India’s First Global Progressive Showroom in Telangana

HYDERABAD, Feb 6 : German luxury carmaker Audi has strengthened its India growth strategy with the inauguration on Friday of the country’s first Global Progressive Showroom in Telangana at Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, signalling a sharper focus on premium urban markets and experience-led retail.

The new facility, Audi’s second showroom in Hyderabad, reflects the company’s confidence in the city’s high-income customer base and expanding demand for luxury mobility.

The move comes amid steady growth in India’s luxury automobile segment in this region, supported by rising disposable incomes, a technology-driven economy and aspirational consumption trends.

The showroom was inaugurated by Balbir Singh Dhillon, Brand Director, Audi India, along with V. V. Rajendra Prasad, Chairman and Managing Director, VVC Motors Group of Companies, and Vikas Choudary, Dealer Principal, VVC Exclusive Audi Hyderabad Central.

Speaking on the occasion, Balbir Singh said the launch marks a key milestone in Audi India’s long-term expansion roadmap.

He noted that the Progressive Showroom in Hyderabad is the first of its kind in India, and Audi plans to roll out the concept across existing dealerships in a phased manner, enhancing brand consistency and customer engagement nationwide.

He added that Hyderabad remains a strategic market due to its robust IT ecosystem, strong wealth creation and evolving consumer preferences.

The Progressive Showroom Concept, aligned with Audi’s Living Progress philosophy, is designed to deliver a digitally enabled, personalised buying experience, strengthening customer connect and conversion, he added.

From a dealer perspective, Vikas Choudary said the partnership with Audi marks VVC Motors’ entry into the luxury car segment.

He also announced investments in after-sales infrastructure, including a dedicated Audi Approved: Plus outlet and a new Audi Service Centre at Gachibowli, aimed at supporting long-term customer retention and lifecycle value.

The Jubilee Hills facility features a floating car display with 360-degree visibility, reinforcing Audi’s global retail design standards and premium positioning.

Audi currently operates 67 touchpoints across India and plans further network expansion during the year.

Its India portfolio includes models such as the Audi A4, A6, Q3, Q3 Sportback, Q5, Q7, Q8, S5 Sportback and RS Q8, targeting a broad spectrum of luxury and performance-focused customers.
