Attempt to murder case worked out, two arrested

JAMMU, Aug 17: RS Pura Police worked out attempt to murder case with the arrest of two persons.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a person namely Narinder Singh with Police Station RS Pura stating that some unknown persons by taking advantage of the darkness attacked his uncle namely Ram Lal, son of Sardari Lal of Puru Pana RS Pura when he was working in his fields.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 166/2021 under Sections 307, 323 and 34 IPC and 4/25 Arms Act was registered at Police Station RS Pura and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a special team led by SHO RS Pura Inspector Jai Pal Sharma was constituted under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Shabir Khan.
The team connected various leads and finally arrested the two accused who were identified as Ravinder Singh, son of Jagar Singh and Sahil Sodhi, son of Vijay Kumar, both residents of Badyal Brahmana.
During sustained questioning, the accused confessed their involvement in the above case and on their disclosure, weapons of offence (one sharp edged weapon and one baseball stick) were also recovered.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
