JAMMU, Dec 26: Shiv Sena (UBT) Jammu and Kashmir unit chief Manish Sahni today termed the atrocities against Hindus in Bangladesh as intolerable and demanded that the Modi Government at the Centre take strong action and ensure the safety of Hindus in Bangladesh and other foreign countries.
Addressing a press conference, state chief Manish Sahni said, “The killings and atrocities against Hindus in Bangladesh are continuing unchecked.”
In the last week alone, two Hindu youths have been beaten to death. After Deepu Chandra Das, fundamentalists brutally murdered Amrit Mandal.
Sahni said that fundamentalists in Bangladesh are running rampant and Hindus are living in fear.
The Bangladeshi government is also covering up these murders.
Sahni warned the fundamentalists to stop their cowardly acts, otherwise, they will face serious consequences due to the resulting retaliation.
The SS leader also demanded that the Modi Government adopt a tough stance against Bangladesh and take strict legal action against Bangladeshis illegally residing in the country.
He also demanded that the safety of Hindus in Bangladesh and other foreign countries be ensured.
Among others who were present during the conference included Meenakshi Chibber (president, Women’s Wing), Vikas Bakshi (general secretary) and Jasbir Singh (joint secretary).
