JAMMU, Feb 20: First leg of budget session of the Assembly concluded today with the House now scheduled to reassemble on March 27 to pass the budget for the 2026-27.

Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather announced that House will reassemble on March 27, when it will reconvene to pass the Appropriation Bill, a step required to formally approve the budget.
During the second leg of the session, the House will consider Appropriation Bill, Private Members Bills and Resolutions besides the Government business.
