NEW DELHI, Dec 24: The Ministry of Home Affairs has promoted five IPS officers, including Neha Jain, who is presently posted as Additional Superintendent of Police in Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir.
She is the only IPS officer from her batch serving in the J&K segment to be promoted.
Another promoted officer, Anurag Daru, has also served in Jammu and Kashmir earlier, having undergone part of his professional training in the Union Territory.
Among other IPS officers who have been promoted are Akshat Aayush, Akanksha Milind Tamgadge, Aashish Kumar.
