JAMMU, Dec 15: All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference (ASKPC) has urged the Relief & Rehabilitation Commissioner (RRC) to ease the issuance process of issuance of migration certificates to displaced Kashmiri Pandit candidates aspiring to apply for various posts under PM package.
The ASKPC in a meeting held here, today under the chairmanship of its president, R K Wangnoo said the displaced youth are facing hardships in getting these certificates with the reason it was seen in these COVID-19 days applicants or their parents had to remain in long queues which created rush on windows where certificates are issued.
He urged (RRC) to increase more windows in this regard in same manner as was done for Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana in past.
Bharat Bushan Gosani, general secretary said that it pains to sees that many shrines and temples of Kashmiri Pandits in Valley are in shambles which have been damaged by fundamentalists over the years. He demanded immediate renovation of all damaged Hindu shrines and temples in Kashmir.
He said restoration of shrines and other religious places with passage of Shrines and Temples Bill will be act as Confidence Building Measure on return and rehabilitation of displaced Pandits to Kashmir valley which is their motherland and has been nurtured by them for over 5000 years.
Sanjay Pandita said that ASKPC supports Prem Nath Bhat Memorial Trust which has been persuading Temples and Shrines Bill for the last 13/14 years.
Pandita in his address appealed to LG to take some decision, on the Bill so that these shrines and temples of Kashmiri Pandits would be saved from further devastation.
The other members who attended the meeting were Ravi Raina Youth Wing president, Bimal Krishen Wantoo, Bushan Lal Bhan, R L Koul, Jawahar Lal Pandit, Sunil Bhat, B K Mujoo, S K Raina, Deepak Moza and Ravinder Razdan.
