JAMMU, Dec 25: The Punjab Engineering College Old Student Association (PECOSA), the alumni association of the prestigious Punjab Engineering College (deemed to be University), Chandigarh, has announced the appointment of Ashwani Kundal as a member of its Executive Committee from the Jammu chapter.
The announcement was made at a recent event held in Jammu, where Kundal was honoured for his significant contributions to the alumni network.
Founded as Mughalpura Technical Institute in Lahore in 1921, Punjab Engineering College has a rich legacy and PECOSA continues to foster connections among its alumni worldwide.
The event in Jammu commenced with a warm welcome extended to Manish Gupta by M M Gupta (president, Jammu chapter) along with general secretary Sunil Gupta, and Vinod Luthra. Special recognition was given to Suman Khanna, Electrical Engineering (1987), for representing the female alumni from the region.
Addressing the gathering, Manish Gupta highlighted the objectives of PECOSA and announced the upcoming Global Alumni Meet 2025, scheduled for February 8, 2025, with Gursharan Singh Mech (1981) as the chief guest.
