JAMMU, June 8: All Senior Citizens and Pensioners Welfare Association (ASCPWA) of Ward No. 13, Resham Garh Colony held a meeting under the chairmanship of its president Dr Mohan Lal Gupta.
During the meeting, the members criticized the renovation work carried out by the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) as the work which was started around two years back has not been completed till date.
They also highlighted the deploring condition of the Ambedkar community hall at Resham Garh Colony. The hall requires renovation and some electrical work, they added.
They further stated that the Joint Commissioner of JMC and XEn visited in the park and assured early completion of all works but nothing has been done till today.
They urged the Commissioner JMC to intervene personally and redress the issues.
Among others present were Harbachan Singh, KK Dutta, VP Kohli, Shamsunder Sharma, Vaishno Jolly, Raghunandan Bali, Sodhagarmal, Rajinder Prasad and Suresh Sharma.
