JAMMU, Dec 31: Senior BJP leader and MLA Jammu West, Arvind Gupta here today inspected irrigation canal in Talab Tillo area.
He was accompanied by Mandal president, Keshav Chopra; BJP State secretary, Ayodhya Gupta and other prominent party leaders and workers including Anil Angral, Rajesh Saini, Lovekesh Gondi, Sonali Gupta, Vikas Gupta, Dr. R.K Gupta and Naresh.
During inspection, the MLA reviewed the ongoing developmental works and assured that the efforts to revitalize the canal would be extended to Ajit Colony. He emphasized the importance of beautifying the canal, transforming it to a clean and aesthetic part of the locality.
The MLA urged the locals to actively participate in maintaining cleanliness of the canal and to refrain from throwing garbage or construction debris into it.
He highlighted the necessity of preserving the irrigation canal as it plays a crucial role in maintaining water supply for agricultural purposes.
Gupta assured the public that all the pending issues concerning the canal would be resolved promptly.
He said: “Under the leadership of PM Modi we are determined to bring transformative changes in infrastructure and environmental preservation.”
