JAMMU, Dec 26: Senior BJP leader and MLA Jammu West, Arvind Gupta here today inaugurated many development projects in Ward number 40 and 41.
The inaugurated developmental works included construction of a deep drain and advanced lane and drain system.
The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of local leaders and officials including BJP Mandal president, Keshav Chopra, former JMC Councillors-Sanjay Baru and Neelam Nargotra and Chaman Lal Bhagat along with AEE Raman Kapahi and JE Shabaab Rizvi.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA emphasized BJP’s dedication to grassroots development and in resolving civic issues through robust planning and execution. “This is just the beginning of a series of projects aimed at transforming Jammu West into a model Constituency,” he maintained adding: “We are focused on providing long-term solutions to recurring issues like drainage and road maintenance.”
He said that while PM Modi led Government is committed to provide modern amenities, it is equally important for the community to ensure their proper usage and upkeep.
Prominent among those who were present on the occasion were Jaipal Sharma, Dr. Parshotam, Naresh Gupta, Jatinder Khajuria, Bhubesh Sharma, K.L Sharma, Kali Bhagat, Lokesh Bhagat, Vinod Wazir, Jatin Sethi, Bhnai Partap, Pyare Mawa, Rajan Radha, H.S Manni, Rakesh Verma and Krishen Verma.
