JAMMU, Nov 4: MLA Jammu West, Arvind Gupta, today inaugurated lane and drain works in Ward No. 24, furthering his commitment to improving civic amenities and ensuring better infrastructure for the residents of the area.
The development works aim to resolve long-pending issues of water logging, sanitation, and damaged lanes that have caused inconvenience to locals for years.
The project is being executed under the Constituency Development Fund (CDF), reflecting the MLA’s focus on grassroots development and efficient urban management.
Arvind Gupta was accompanied by former corporator Anu Bali, Mohit Vaid, Karan Sharma, Pardeep, Bhumesh, Mangal Singh, Arti Khajuria, Anuradha, Pawan, Ashu, Suresh Gupta, Indresh, and Bunty Choudhary.
The locals warmly welcomed the MLA and expressed gratitude for fulfilling their long-standing demand.
While addressing the gathering, Arvind Gupta said that the BJP Government is committed to transforming Jammu into a model constituency with upgraded infrastructure and modern civic facilities.
He emphasized that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, development has reached every ward and corner of Jammu.
“Our focus is on providing lasting solutions rather than temporary fixes. Every effort is being made to improve drainage, sanitation, and road connectivity,” he said.
Gupta also assured that similar works will be initiated in other wards soon to ensure balanced and uniform development across the constituency. He appealed to the residents to extend their cooperation in maintaining cleanliness and monitoring the progress of the works.
