JAMMU, Mar 16: On the auspicious occasion of the 89th Trimurti Shiva Jayanti, a grand celebration organized by the Brahma Kumaris, was held here today.
Arvind Gupta, MLA Jammu West attended the event as the chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Arvind Gupta lauded the social and spiritual contributions of the Brahma Kumaris, emphasizing that spirituality plays a crucial role in shaping a progressive and enlightened society.
He stated that by embracing spiritual values, individuals can cultivate inner peace, moral integrity and a sense of universal brotherhood.
Appreciating the efforts of the Brahma Kumaris in spreading the message of peace and self-transformation, the senior BJP leader encouraged people to integrate spiritual practices into their daily lives.
He concluded by stating that a spiritually awakened society is the foundation of a prosperous and morally strong nation.
Rajyogini B K Sudarshan Didi, In-charge of Brahma Kumaris Jammu, elaborated on the profound spiritual significance of Shivratri.
She explained that across different religions, Shiva is revered by various names-some call Him Jyoti Prakash, some Nooree Elahi, while others refer to him as God is Light or Akalmurt.
The event was graced by several distinguished guests, including Vijay K Magolsa, Dilip Raina, Kaishan Lal Sangral, Jatin Sethi, Arun Dubey and Jyoti.
Senior Brother Ravinder Bhai from the Brahma Kumaris introduced the organization’s mission and activities, while B K Sushma, In-charge of Brahma Kumaris Talab Tillo, warmly welcomed the guests.
