Arun re-elected JCCI chief

JAMMU, June 8: Arun Gupta has been re-elected as president of the Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the next term of two years. He along with his entire team was declared elected.

Arun Gupta secured 1461 votes and defeated Rakesh Gupta, who got 1290 votes.
For the post of senior vice president, Anil Gupta was declared elected. He secured 1603 votes and defeated Deepak Aggarwal who polled 1010 votes.
For the post of junior vice president, Rajeev Gupta (Kaka) was declared winner. He bagged  1812 votes and defeated Sunil Gupta (Kodha) who secured 916  votes.
For the post of secretary general, Manish Gupta  was declared as elected. He secured  1487 votes and defeated Rahul Mahajan, who got 1226 votes.
For the post of JCCI secretary, Rajesh Gupta was declared elected. He bagged 1496 votes and defeated Ashu Gupta, who secured 1144 votes.

For the post of treasurer, Rajesh Gupta (Raju) got elected. He secured 1295 votes. His nearest rival Manik Gupta got 739 Votes, while Rajeev Langer secured just 602 votes.
The Bi-ennial elections of Chamber of Commerce & Industry for the term 2025-27 were held  at the Chamber House under the supervision of the Election  Committee headed by   Shiv Partap Gupta.
All the members of the JCCI appreciated the role of SP Gupta and his team for conducting Chamber elections in a transparent manner.
