JAMMU, Nov 3: Artists from Master Sansar Chand Baru (MSCB) Memorial Charitable Trust showcased their artworks on pillars of Sarai Kale Khan Flyover in New Delhi.
Notably, Delhi’s Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, along with Public Works Department (PWD) Minister, Atishi Singh have recently inaugurated the flyover and pledged to enhance its aesthetics.
Anuradha Rishi, Trustee MSCB Trust mentioned that the government has entrusted them with the beautification of Sarai Kale Khan Flyover and their artists are excelling in the task.
She said that the Trust has also provided numerous opportunities to artists from diverse backgrounds and specialties.
Rishi stated that Delhi government has assigned their Trust the task of showcasing themed sculpture art at selected metro stations in Delhi which aims to offer commuters a serene experience while conveying powerful messages about current social issues and challenges.
She further noted that the Trust collaborates with artists from across India to display their creations in various trains and metro stations offering them attractive compensation in return.
MSCB Trust was established 11 years ago in honour of esteemed artist, Master Sansar Chand Baru.
The Trust has also formed partnerships with Ministry of Petroleum, Culture and Tourism undertaking various projects in collaboration with the concerned Ministries.
Rishi expressed pride in how quickly the Trust has gained recognition, establishing itself as a significant entity in the national art scene.
