Art workshop ‘Vidya Daan Maha Daan’ enters day 3

JAMMU, Jan 31: National Art Workshop ‘Vidya Daan Maha Daan’, organised by Master Sansar Chand Baru Memorial Charitable (MSCBMC) Trust in collaboration with PETRONET LNG Limited entered day 3 today at Government Girls High School, Basti Gulab Garh, R.S Pura.
Students of the School participated in wall painting and creative art activities under the mentorship of eminent artists Manish K Rao, Javaid Iqbal, Aditya S. Prasad, Rakhi Kumar, Shyamal Mukherjee, Vijaylaxmi Deepak Mer, Chaitali Chanda, Sharmila Sharma, Monalisa Sarkar, Sagar Vasant Kamble and Kashmiri artist Naushad Gayooro.
The school campus was transformed into a colourful and inspiring learning space as students created murals highlighting themes of education, women empowerment, peace and patriotism.
Interacting with students, the artists shared insights on the role of creativity in personal development and career opportunities in the field of art.
Speaking on the occasion, Anuradha Rishi, president MSCBMC Trust, said that art is not merely an extracurricular activity but a vital tool for emotional well-being, cognitive development and academic excellence.
