SAMBA, June 22: District administration Samba today finalized the arrangements for the ensuing Annual Baba Chambliyal Mela and Baba Sidh Goria Mela scheduled to be held on June 25 and June 28 respectively.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Pawan Sharma chaired two separate meetings at Swankha and Chambliyal and discussed the arrangements made for two religious events with the police and civil officers.
In the meeting, the arrangements were finalized for successful conduct of Baba Sidh Goria and Baba Chambliyal Mela.
The ADC reviewed the arrangements assigned to the each department, including repair of roads to the twin shrines, provision for power, water, transport, sanitation and security.
ADC gave instructions for setting up of fully functional control rooms in the premises of Baba Sidh Goria and Baba Chambliyal where one representative each from PWD, PHE, PDD, Transport Department and Traffic Department will be present round the clock to facilitate the pilgrims.
ADC directed all departments to expedite their work and ensure all facilities at the mela sites for convenience of devotees.
