DODA, Oct 20: The sleuths of Forest Department retrieved around 12 kanals of encroached forest land in Trown area of the district.
As per official spokesman, a team of Forest Department led by Range Officer Keller Sheikh Zaffurhalla conducted raid and retrived 12 kanals of encroached forest land at Trown by four persons namely Abdul Rashid, son of Ghulam Mustafa, Atta Mohammad, son of Ghulam Mustafa, Bader Din, son of Ghulam Qadir and Swami Raj, son of Chuni Lal, all residents of Trown.
In this regards, the cognizance has been taken against the encroachers.
The land has been retrieved under the supervision of Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Khalid Amin Metha, Deputy Director Forest Protection Force Mohinder Singh and Conservator of Forest Chenab Region TB Singh.
