REASI, Feb 5: In its endeavour to promote IT literacy among students of remote areas of the district, Rashtriya Rifles Battalion at Talwara under the aegis of Rashtriya Rifles Counter Insurgency Uniform Force Headquarters, Reasi, today started a short term basic computer course for 25 young students.
The training capsule is aimed at increasing awareness of IT education among students with an effort to bring them at par with their counterparts in other parts of the country. The training curriculum includes teaching the basics of computer operations, MS Office and safe surfing on the internet.
In the inauguration ceremony, which was attended by officers from civil administration, Army officials complimented the students for availing the opportunity and asked them to make optimum use of the same.
