JAMMU, Aug 10: Tiger Division of the Army, as part of the National celebrations to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of the victory of 1965 war over Pakistan, organised a seminar and audio visual presentation- cum- exhibition for the school children of Army Public School, Miran Sahib and their parents in RS Pura sector today
The presentation- cum- exhibition showcased the Indian Army’s saga of valour.
The programme was attended by a large number of parents and about 100 children. The audience was given a glimpse of the battles and activities through audio visual means as well as a exhibition rare photographs.
In addition, the war account and dispatches of Major General MM Beliappa (Retired) who was the then adjutant of 1 Sikh LI were also shared with the audience. The event inspired the students and also educated their parents about the glorious traditions of the Indian Army.
