DODA, Nov 16: Rashtriya Rifles, a unit of the Indian Army, organized mega ex-servicemen rally in here today.

The rally, which was organized by the 10 Rashtriya Rifles (RR), was attended by over 200 ex-servicemen, war veterans, disabled soldiers, war widows and other family members hailing from different of areas of erstwhile Doda district.
Major General, Ravi Murugan, GOC Delta Force was the chief guest on the occasion whereas Commander 4 Sector Brigadier NJ Singh was also present.
The meet was held to provide a platform for registration of grievances and for their immediate redressal. Issues related to pension, health care, re-employment, among many others were taken up at the meet.
Major General interacted with the ex-servicemen, war widows and others and distributed gifts among war widows.
