BHADERWAH, Sept 30:- In it’s ongoing efforts to empower women of far-off areas and to train them in different basic technical skills under Sadhbhavana Programe, 4 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) located at Bhaderwah sponsored one month Computer Training Course in which 25 girls of the town and it’s surroundings were provided with the basic computer course.
These girls were enrolled for computer coaching classes by the Army on August 25 in a recognised institute and today all the girls were provided with the certificate and citations after successful completion of the course. To felicitate the girls who successfully completed computer course under Sadhbhavana, a felicitation function was held at Battalion Head Quarter located at Sarna in which all the girls beside being provided with the certificates were given a practical glimpse about the functioning of Army who performed their duties in far-off areas without their families around.
Girls were all praise to Army for giving an opportunity to empower themselves and to become self-reliant. “I had a passion for computer since my childhood but my family income was too low to enroll myself for a computer course, said Heena Bano.
“We wanted to give our sisters a glimpse that how their brothers who are in Army live in their units without families and also it was very important to educate and show them the kind of harmony Army lives in and this will definitely help to show the true image of the Army to the people who sometimes get influenced by false propaganda,” said CO 4RR Colnel Ravi Gargotra.
