KISHTWAR, Dec 14: An army jawan set his double storied house ablaze in Gud Saroor area of Drabshalla over some issue with his father, this evening.
As per police sources, an army jawan identified as Subash Chander, son of Mohan Lal, a resident of Gud Saroor, Drabshalla set his double storied house ablaze over some dispute with his father, this evening.
On getting information over telephone, DySP Headquarters Kishtwar Tussif Ahmed deputed a team from Drabshalla police post headed by PSI VP Singh to rush to the spot.
Following the orders, police team reached the spot and informed the Department of Fire and Emergency Services.
Fire tenders along with fire fighters reached the spot and started operation to douse the flames with the help of locals and police personnel.
After hectic efforts, the fire was brought under control but till then the double storied house was completely gutted.
However, no casualty or injury has been reported in the incident, while the exact loss could not be ascertained yet.
After written complaint filed by father of army jawan, a case under FIR Number 216/15 under Section 436 and 323 RPC has been registered and manhunt has been launched to nab the army jawan, who escaped from the spot after committing the crime.
