JAMMU, May 31: Army jawan was found dead with gunshot wound under chin in his unit at Sunal area of Akhnoor late tonight.
As per police sources, army jawan identified as Sandeep Kumar, son of Inderjeet Singh, a resident of Himachal Pradesh was found dead with gunshot wound under chin in his unit at Sunal area of Akhnoor.
After getting information, police team led by SDPO Akhnoor Varun Jandial rushed to the spot.
The body of the deceased has been shifted to MH Hospital at Akhnoor. Cognizance in this regard has been taken by Akhnoor Police.
