SRINAGAR, Oct 7: Army today said it organized a medical-cum-veterinary camp in Larnoo village of Kokernag area of Anantnag district.
A defence spokesman said the camp received an overwhelming response from the locals. “A total of five doctors (two of Army and three from State Government) including one lady doctor and one dentist were available to look after the patients,” he said.
Free medicines were provided to all the civilians along with veterinary medical cover, said the spokesman, adding that over 500 patients availed the benefit of Camp. He said around 80 animals were treated apart from the medicines provided for over 120 animals.
