Srinagar, May 24: Army today said a recruitment rally for enrollment of 600 porters is scheduled to be held at Maidanan village of Boniyar in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district from May 25 to 26.
A defence spokesman said the recruitment rally will be opened to the medically fit persons in the age category 18 to 40 years. “The aspirants can avail the opportunity by bringing requisite certificates viz passport size photographs, next of kin certificate, character certificate, date of birth, identity proof, agreement of contractual employment, police verification form and medical certificate,” he said.
The spokesman said Army offers S1 Grade Scale for mates and tradesman cum Safaiwala and S2 Grade Scale for porters and safaiwala excluding Field allowances. “Aspirants must avail this opportunity and reach at Maidanan, Boniyar on May 25 by 8:00 AM,” he added.
