Army flags off educational tour to Pune

SRINAGAR, July 7: An educational tour for 24 students drawn along with their teachers was flagged off today for Pune from Anantnag.
The tour will reach Pune on July 9. The students and teachers belong to AGS High Ground, Anantnag and AGPS Pahalgam. The tour has been organized by Army as part of its ‘Operation Sadbhavna’.
The tour has been named ‘Watan Ki Shaikshik Evam Prernadayak Sair’. During the tour, the students and teachers will go through myriad activities in National Defence Academy, Pune, Military Engineering and Armed Forces Medical College.
The students will also visit various famous sites like Kalraj Snake Park, Cricket Stadium Pune, Lonavala, Hazi Ali and Gateway of India. The group will also have an interaction with Commandant, College of Military Engineering, National Defence Academy and Armed Forces Medical College.
