KISHTWAR, Sept 13: Army Commander Northern Command, Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, visited Kishtwar today to review the security situation and assess counter-terrorism operations in the region.
He stressed the importance of maintaining a proactive approach and reiterated the Army’s commitment to sustained efforts for peace and security.
During his visit, the Army Commander also reviewed the recent flood situation in Kishtwar.
He praised the swift response of the Army in restoring connectivity, providing vital assistance, and supporting the local population during the crisis.
Lt Gen Sharma lauded the coordination between security forces and the civil administration, reaffirming that the Army remains committed to safeguarding people and contributing to stability and welfare in the region.
