LEH, Dec 31: Northern Army Commander Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma today visited the Tagyarmale Sector in Eastern Ladakh to review the operational preparedness of the troops deployed in the forward areas.
During the visit, he was briefed on the current security situation and the level of operational readiness.
The Army Commander interacted with officers and soldiers on the ground and praised them for their high professionalism, strong resolve and dedication to duty while operating in extremely challenging terrain and harsh weather conditions.
Lt Gen Sharma commended the troops for maintaining a high state of vigilance and readiness, and urged them to continue upholding the values of discipline, excellence and commitment to national security.
He also extended his greetings to all ranks, wishing them a successful and prosperous period ahead.
