Army Commander chairs Joint Control Centre meeting

SRINAGAR, Feb 20: Lt. Gen. Pratik Sharma, Army Commander, Northern Command (NC), chaired a Joint Control Centre meeting at Srinagar to review the prevailing security situation and enhance operational synergy among security agencies.
The meeting was attended by senior Army leadership along with officials from J&K Police, Central Reserve Police Force, Border Security Force and other key stakeholders.
During deliberations, detailed discussions were held on strengthening real-time intelligence fusion and ensuring seamless inter-agency coordination.
Emphasis was laid on enhancing information sharing mechanisms, refining response protocols and maintaining a high state of operational preparedness to effectively address emerging security challenges.
The Army Commander underscored the importance of a unified and mission-oriented approach among all security forces to ensure swift response capabilities and sustain a mission-ready posture across the region.
He appreciated the continued cooperation and synergy among Army, Police and Central Armed Police Forces in maintaining peace and stability.
