NOWSHERA, Nov 15: Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, Army Commander Northern Command (Army Cdr NC), visited the Nowshera and Bhimber Gali sectors today to review the operational preparedness of the troops in forward areas.
During the visit, the Army Commander interacted with troops deployed along the Line of Control (LoC) and commended them for their high morale, professionalism, and sustained operational efficiency despite challenging terrain and operational conditions.
Lt Gen Sharma was briefed in detail about the enhanced surveillance systems, upgraded precision engagement capabilities, and the future-ready operational measures instituted to further strengthen the defensive posture along the Line of Control (LoC).
The Northern Army Commander appreciated the efforts of the formations in maintaining round-the-clock vigilance and ensuring a robust security environment in the region. The Army Commander lauded the dedication of the soldiers and reaffirmed the Army’s commitment to safeguarding the nation’s borders with utmost resolve and readiness.
