JAMMU, Oct 29: Jugal Kishore Sharma Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) from Jammu-Reasi Parliamentary constituency, has assured the people of his constituency to continue work with dedication for the welfare of the people of his constituency and its overall development.
The MP has complimented Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, Minister for Railways, Ashwini Vaishnaw, and Minister of State for Railways, Ravneet Singh for approving several key railway and infrastructure projects that will greatly benefit the Jammu region.
In a statement issued here, today Jugal Kishore said following the issues raised by him in the Lok Sabha under Rule 377 the Ministry of Railways has taken swift action to address important local needs.
Major projects approved include the construction of ROB bridge at Gurha Slathia in Samba district, and underpasses at village Chak Largan, Bajalta in Jammu which will significantly ease traffic movement and enhance connectivity, he said.
The MP said the Ministry has also approved stoppages of prominent trains such as Jammu Mail, Tata-Muri Express, Sialdah Express,Himsagar Express, Shalimar Express, Jhelum , Hemkunt Express etc at Samba Station , which were not restored after Covid-19 and Uttar Sampark Kranti Express at Manwal Railway Station, to improve travel convenience for passengers. Additionally, the construction of a new foot over bridge at Manwal Railway Station is also under consideration to ensure safer and smoother passenger movement across platforms.
Another important approval has been granted for ROB bridge at Raya Suchani village, further strengthening transport infrastructure in the constituency.
Jugal complimented Prime Minister and Railway Ministers for their visionary leadership and constant efforts to transform the railway network and infrastructure in Jammu. He assured the people of Jammu that he will continue working with full dedication for the overall development, connectivity, and prosperity of the region.
