JAMMU, Feb 12: A delegation of office bearers from the Association of Industries (AoI) Gangyal, Jammu led by its president Virendra Jain met with the Chairman, J&K Pollution Control Committee, Vasu Yadav alongwith Member Secretary, Ghansham Singh in his office chamber to discuss crucial issues affecting the industrial sector.
The meeting focused on addressing the challenges faced by the industries and exploring ways to promote sustainable development in the region. The Chairman assured the delegation of the board’s support in creating a conducive environment for industries to thrive while adhering to environmental norms.
Virendra Jain, president AoI emphasized the need for a collaborated approach between the industries and the J&K PCC to achieve sustainable development goals. The delegation appreciated the Chairman’s willingness to engage with the Industrial community and address their concern.
The meeting was also attended by other office bearers of AOI, Sanjay Langar- general secretary, Ajay Kumar Mahajan- secretary and Jatinder Singh-treasurer.
