JAMMU, Mar 17: Association of Industries (AOI) Gangyal felicitated the Minister for Industries and Commerce Chander Parkash Ganga at AOI Bhawan here today.
The minister was accompanied by Financial Commissioner Industries Department Khursheed Ahmed Ganai, Kifayat Hussain Rizvi -Managing Director SICOP, Dr Abdul Rashid, Director Industries Jammu and R K Tickoo from SICOP besides other officials.
The AOI members led by president Rajesh Jain felicitated the minister who recently took over the charge of the department. Mr Jain highlighted the problems being faced by the industrialists of Gangyal. The AOI stressed for new industrial policy, ease of doing business, goods and service tax, ownership rights, establishment of new Industrial Estate, improving power infrastructure, VAT refund, local employment etc.
The minister gave assurance to members to resolve their issues on priority basis. Senior AOI members Bansi Lal Gupta, Ashok Jain, S B Abrol, Vijay Sharma and Sanjeev Vig were also present.
